Aluminum Bar Shear cutting Machine

Description

Cutting is achieved by nicking the circumference of the bar and then oscillating that area until the bar fails in shear.

Applications

Used to cut solid bar and heavy wall tube made from materials with a maximum UTS of 200 Mpa and maximum elongation of 10%

Advantages

Creates not swarf or burr. Cycle time approximately 1.5 seconds per cut.
