Internal weld bead removal is achieved by machining the excess weld from the inside of the tube or pipe. This is achieved using coated tungsten carbide convex cutting tools. The main differect between the different designs available is the method of cutting.
All high frequency, low frequency and laser welded pipe or tube. Optional load sensors on the anchor can detect worn or broken cutting tips faster than conventional visual inspection methods.
Internal weld bead removal is required to meet costomers requirements and specifications.
Standard designs available for all mills and can be modified to meet customers specific requirements.
